Who doesn’t love a great sounding piano? MeldaProduction did a great job emulating this piano sound. Dozens of microphones were used to capture this instrument – it feels perfect for pop, but with a little processing this can be used in a wide variety of applications.

3. Zebralette by u-he

Zebralette is a stripped down version of u-he’s flagship synth: Zebra2. U-he is on of our favourite plugin developers, they never seem to disappoint. While this synth only has one oscillator, it’s polyphonic (up to 16 voices) and has plenty of sound design options with its 24 (!) built-in effects.
